Autoimmune Disease…Do You Have One?

Autoimmune disease is rampant and the industrial medical complex is getting rich from not curing your problem.

Traditional medicine is huge money making machine.  HUGE.  They have built enormous infrastructures (buildings, hospitals, testing facilities, etc) that need money to survive.

Your money.

Insurance company money.

Science is changing and it is affecting the bottom line of the traditional medical community and these mofos are shaking in their boots.

Managing your pain is where their financial sweet spot is.

Treating and curing your problem takes you out of their cash flow.

Traditional medicine does not care about the root cause of your issue.

They care about placating your symptoms.

Your Body Communicates With You Via Pain and Discomfort

It’s trying to tell you that something needs attention.  Getting a prescription from your doctor to shut that symptom up doesn’t make the problem go away, it just eliminates the symptom.  When you choose pharmaceutical drugs that minimize symptoms over treatment of your problem, it’s like your are slapping your body in the face and telling it to STFU  (shut the f#$k up).  No joke.

My journey to autoimmune disease diagnosis was long and painful.  Why?  Because I had the audacity to tell each and every doctor I went to see that I was not looking for a drug to placate my symptoms. I wanted to understand what my body was trying to tell me and then try to fix it.

GASP!!!

If I couldn’t repair the problems by trying to do it this way, I’d be more than happy to talk about their offerings, but first I was going to try and listen to my body and fix what was wrong.

It sounds fairly easy, right?

Tell me what’s wrong and I’ll try and fix it?

Ah….not so much.  What a shit show it turned into.

If you are sick with any autoimmune disease and your doctor is NOT talking to you about food and lifestyle changes to remedy your problem, find a new doctor.

What you eat, what you think and how much you move are having a HUGE impact not only on your current health but your long term health.

Why?

Because if you have one autoimmune disease, the likelihood that you will develop one or more other autoimmune conditions is  incredibly high.  That’s why it is critical for you to

  1. get properly diagnosed;
  2. treat the problem, not the symptoms.

There are over 100 autoimmune based diseases.

If you have an autoimmune disease and aren’t on the auto-immune protocol (AIP) you will NOT get better. Ever.  And the likelihood that you’ll get worse OR develop another autoimmune disease is very high.

Changing Your Food and Lifestyle is the Only Way to Improve Your Condition

You cannot do it with just pharmaceutical drugs.

Food is a huge part of your problem AND it is also your medicine.

Doctors do not know how to prescribe food, they only know how to prescribe drugs.

Here are some of the most common auto-immune diseases…

  • Lupus
  • IBD – IBS (irritable bowel disease/syndrome)
  • Hashimotos/Graves (thyroid diseases)
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Psoriasis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Endometriosis
  • Celiac
  • Addisons
  • Sjogrens
  • Ulcerated colitis
  • Type 1 Diabetes
  • Crohns

My journey has shown me that more and more people with autoimmune disease need help transitioning to a new and healthier lifestyle.  It’s not as easy as handing someone an autoimmune protocol cookbook and sending them off to figure it out.  It’s a multi-layered process.

This fall I’m going to start doing some autoimmune retreats and educational classes both in person and on line.  I hope you’ll sign up for me newsletter so that you can be notified when these happen.

As someone who was a traditional chef, who made food her whole world for a many years and had to change her entire food lifestyle to heal, you can too.

Let me show you how to improve the quality of your health and life by changing what you put in your mouth.

Please share this information with your social network.  You never know who you might be helping.

Thanks.
